I am gathering data regarding your organization units for
income maintenance, child support, clerical, and accounting. Are these
separate units in your county or combined? If separate, how many workers
are in each unit, not counting the supervisor?
Thank you,

At Benton Fiscal Services (Accounting/Office Support/Collection)has one supervisor for 9 staff. Child Support/Fraud has one supervisor for 10 staff. Income maintenance has 2 supervisors for 24 staff.
Clay County:

OSS: 10 staff - 1 supervisor
Accounting: Centralized in Auditor/Treasurer's Office of 16 staff - supervised by County Auditor/Treasurer - specific to SS accounting we have 3 Acct Techs, 1 Statistical Specialist, and 1 Fiscal Supervisor.

Grant County is small...
4 IM staff and 1 OSS(front desk, mostly deals with IM)
1 CSO internally, .75 CSO contracted
1 Fiscal Officer, and 1 accounting tech(this is 100% back up for OSS, and will be hired in the next month).
There is 1 IM supervisor over IM and the OSS, Fiscal Manager over 2 fiscal staff and is 25% alloted to R/B, and our director supervises our internal CSO.
In Sherburne County these are all separate units.
IM has 2 units, Financial and Health Care with a total of 36 workers and 2 supervisors.
Child Support has 13 workers and 1 supervisor.
Accounting has 12 workers and 1 supervisor.
The clerical unit has 10 workers that includes a lead worker. Supervision in the unit is split between the Social Services manager, Public Health/Economic Support Manager, and the director.
