Bills for prescriptions/client in secure facility

11-08-18
Can you ask a few counties if they get bills for prescriptions for a child who is placed in a secure detention or correctional facility?  They are not MA eligible if they are in a secure holding?  Do they make the parents pay for the medical bill?

Brown county pays for the prescriptions…We code them to OHP expenses. We haven’t billed parents for those prescriptions.
