MH-TCM billing rates

12-13-18

Here is my question:
For those counties billing Blue Cross Blue Shield for MH-TCM what rates are they billing, and what rates is BCBS paying?
Since we started billing them the rate has been $425 for AMH or state rate whichever is higher, and $550 for CMH or state rate whichever is higher.
We are billing our state rate for CMH, but, only getting paid $550.  Just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing?

We're billing at the State new rate of $752 for CMH-TCM, and still receiving $550.00 from BCBS.

We are getting the same. Blue Plus does not go by the state rates.

Ottertail County has been billing AMH $425.00 and CMH $550.00 rates since 01/01/17. We did not have an increase for 2018.

Same as the other two counties that responded. I think you should be able to track down your BC/BS contract your agency signed.
I personally think it's rotten what BC/BS did and would love to say we aren't contracting with them, but hard for consistency when children are on and off different health plans.

Nicollet County received an addendum to our contract in 2017 that stated the contract rate was $425 of adult and $550 for children and have not had an increase since then.

Anoka County is also seeing the same thing. We are trying to work with them on getting the rates fixed, but haven't really gotten a solution. We are billing $900 for CMH, receiving $550 and billing $531 for AMH claims, receiving $425.
