Family Support Grant Question

We are entering our 2018 service arrangements for the Family Support Grant (BC 535).  What kind of proof are other counties requiring when reimbursing the families for funds spent on this?  We are specifically questioning when the family is paying a sitter or for respite and then requesting reimbursement.

Thank you!

This topic just came up in Benton County. Program and accounting disagree on what is needed. Come to the AMSSA meeting on Jan 24th as DHS staff will be there to answer your questions.

Carlton Co - We have a form that provider and parents sign and turn in, but seems real weak and that not real accountable, but at least there is some documentation.

Not much help from me.

In Brown County, the parent signs the service arrangement. By reading the language on the service arrangement, the parent is declaring that the service arrangement is true. The social worker is expected to get keep records from the parents on how the dollars are spent.
